Mapping out a way forward for the industry
Manufacturing is a complex industry with an even more complex environmental footprint. Along with part production itself, there are additional considerations, including material sourcing and shipping, waste management and countless other factors. Every one of these steps in the manufacturing supply chain can be improved to reduce impact. We don’t have a ready solution, but we believe that the first step in addressing the problem is to better understand it.
Our team is working hard to identify workable practices that benefit the environment, our business and yours.
Recycling program within the company ensures cardboard boxes are reutilized in packaging.
Our compressed air systems draw power only when needed enabling us to optimise and reduce energy consumption.
Cutting tools made from carbide & HSS are reground & reused.
We use biodegradeable coolant in all our machines so we do not harm the environment during disposal process
Our newly adopted QMS (Quality management system) & manufacturing operations management ensures that entire workshop is completely paperless.
We believe in utilising renewable energy, we have 100KW solar panels powering our entire company.
Our conventional machines run on MQL (Minimum qty lubrication) which inturn helps us cut down on coolant consumption for open machines without compromising part quality and finish.
Efficient & right size machines have helped us to reduce our energy consumption & reduce our floor space needs.
Each of our machines have mist collections systems installed to ensure workshop air quality is clean for safety of personnel. Air conditioning along with dehumidification ensures air is cool, clean and dry.
